THE HOMOEOPATHIC HERITAGE

INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF HOMOEOPATHY

Editorial and Peer Review Process for The Homeopathic Heritage Journal

Once you hit the submit button, your article reaches our system's inbox. Here's what happens from then on-

The 'article accepted' mail is automated and is generated by the system for all those articles which have been accepted by the system as acceptable for the editorial review. This is system-generated with no manual interference. The criteria for acceptance/rejection are-

1. Plagiarism scanning (allowance of 20%)
2. Grammar check
3. Language check
4. Abidance of our guidelines as provided on the website
5. Timely submission

The articles accepted after the system's check are sent to the editorial board for review where they are manually reviewed and shortlisted by the editors based on conceptual clarity, quality in terms of technicality and presentation as a whole. Two articles worthy of peer review (two best articles out of the ones shortlisted by the editorial board) are sent to our reviewers for peer review. Their comments are sent to the author for incorporation into the article and resubmission via mail within a stipulated time.

NOTE:

Acceptance by the system only informs you that your article has made it to the list of articles which are being reviewed by the editorial board and might go for peer review as well or might be rejected/published on 360. Despite acceptance mail, your article can be rejected by the editorial board if it does not pass the criteria on which it is checked by the editors (aforementioned). In this case however, we give you an option to publish it on Homeopathy 360- our portal for students. (Here it undergoes review again and might get rejected from there also).

WE MAINTAIN A POLICY OF IMPARTIALITY/FAIRNESS IN PUBLICATION

Only the articles submitted via the portal are considered for publication. Articles submitted via email/whatsapp will not be entertained for maintaining an unbiased approach while publishing the journal.
