About Dr Luc De Schepper

Dr. Luc De Schepper was born May 1, 1946, in Ghent, Belgium. He is the founder of the Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy in Cambridge, Massachsetts and author of twelve books on homeopathy, acupuncture, and holistic health care. Dr. Luc, now retired from practice, helped thousands of patients during his 29 years of practice. During the last years, he relied exclusively on LM potencies.

Dr. Luc was one of the first “integrated” Physicians as a Western medical doctor, acupuncturist and homeopath, integrating Western medicine and complementary medicine, and Acupuncture into Homeopathic practice. Dr. Luc was born May 1, 1946, in Ghent, Belgium and is fluent in four languages. He is the founder of the Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy (RICH) and author of fifteen books on homeopathy, acupuncture, and holistic health care, and has seen thousands of patients in 30 years of private practice.

Dr. Luc has been in private practice for many years and his had successful offices in New Jersey, and California in Santa Monica and San Diego with waiting lists up to six months, and is scheduled to return to active practice in Los Angeles, California, in the Summer of 2007.

He founded the Mega Medical Group Inc., a wellness clinic, in Santa Monica, California, and for eight years supervised a staff of 16 health care practitioners including MDs, nurses, chiropractors, nutritionists, and massage therapists. While practicing in California, Dr.Luc became nationally known for his success in treating Candida and Chronic Fatigue with homeopathy, acupuncture, diet, and supplements. As Dr Luc evolved using homeopathy, he found homeopathy to be the most safe and non-toxic treatment—standing out above all other treatments, as a powerful and deep-acting form of natural medicine.

Dr. Luc has medical licenses in Belgium and the United States; and Acupuncture licenses in Holland and California; and received a PhD in Acupuncture from the International Society of Acupuncture in Paris. Dr Luc completed a Neurology internship at UCLA School of Medicine, and was a Professor at an Acupuncture College in California. Dr. Luc has received a Diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy (DI Hom), and has completed extensive Post-Graduate Homeopathic education and training.

Dr. Luc has been a popular guest on over 50 television shows in the United States and abroad, as well as being interviewed on over 120 radio shows, and giving over 150 public lectures. in the United Stares and Abroad Dr. Luc has been invited to address the annual conventions of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners, the American Holistic Nurses Association, Tufts University School of Medicine, the California State Homeopathic Medical Society, and many more. More recently he has been contributing to International homeopathic conferences and seminars. Dr Luc has both national and international seminars/programs teaching his methodology.

Dr. Luc's books are always in demand and have been award winning: Human Condition: Critical, his introduction to homeopathy, won second prize among 3,800 papers at the First World Congress of Traditional Medicine 1994. He also was Winner of the Gold Cup (first prize) for the best paper in it's category, Second Congress on World Traditional Medicine, Las Vegas, Nevada 1995.

Dr. Luc has been part of a homeopathic team in the relief efforts in Sri Lanka through "Homeopaths without Borders," and has lectured extensively in China on integrating Homeopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which is included in his advanced program material and in an upcoming book.
